Alfredo Boulton Collection
After eighty seven years of living at the highest cultural and social levels of his country, Venezuela, Alfredo Boulton left a significant collection of papers and photographs that reflect the variety of interests that led him to create one of the richest bodies of work in Venezuelan photography and art history. In 1996, following Alfredo Boulton’s death, the Alberto Vollmer foundation acquired this important legacy with the intention of organizing and making it accessible to the public interested in the cultural and social history of the American continent. The Boulton archives are organized according to the main themes treated by Boulton himself.
