In 1897 Federico G Vollmer edited part of his piano compositions in a volume titles ” LIRA VENEZOLANA”. The beautiful frontispiece was designed by his friend and famous Venezuelan painter Arturo Michelena. His music reflects the mix of European classical traditions and local Venezuelan rhythms. The Alberto Vollmer Foundation has recently made a CD production
